In today’s blog, we will be discussing “suppressing your chakra’s”. Not everyone knows, but the start of suppressing the chakras begins as a child and continues into adulthood. By the time we have reached adulthood, our chakras are fully imbalanced and creating havoc within our lives.
What are chakras? Some of you might be curious as to what chakras are. A short and sweet version, they are powerful energy points within our body. There are multiple chakra points within our body, but the main seven (7) are the root chakra, sacral chakra, solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, third eye chakra, and crown chakra. Our environment, upbringing, pain, trauma, fears, etc. can cause these chakras to become unbalanced as early as birth and childhood. I say “as early as birth” because the energy the mother feels internally and externally, the baby feels, and it can all be transferred to the baby before the baby makes earthside. Energy is very deep, but that is another conversation for another day.
How are your chakras suppressed? Today’s generation has improved in the areas of learning and balancing their chakras, but there is still work to be done. Our parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and so on, lost the connection when it comes to chakras. Yes, I do feel some parents and grandparents relearned and passed it on down to generations to come, but not everyone was blissed with this opportunity. Children are the most vulnerable, open, and connected little beings. When they make earthside, despite everything, they are the closest to the other realms. They, we are clairvoyance, clairaudience, claircognizance, and clairsentience. They experience a lot from the spiritual realm that us adults have been taught and trained to shut down. We have been taught and trained by our own parents and relatives to shut this down because it has been perceived as “evil” or “the devil”. Negative words, our environment, television shows, music, unbalanced parents or guardians, foods, neglecting our gifts, etc. all play a part in unbalancing and suppressing our chakras.
Ways to bring balance to our chakras again. Do not fret, we can bring balance back to these chakras. Ways to bring back balance to your chakras is first finding the issue(s) that caused the imbalances and heal from it. You can also eat corresponding foods related to that chakra, examples are red foods for the root chakras, purple foods for the crown chakras, green foods for the heart chakra, etc. You can wear corresponding colors related to the chakras, do chakra yoga, meditation, chanting, affirmations, etc. Continuously reflecting and checking in on your chakras will help you keep them balanced and bring you wholeness as well.
Now that you know about suppressing chakras, what leads to it, and how to improve it, I will that you all take space to reflect, tune into yourself, balance your imbalanced chakras, and find wholeness on your journey to self-healing.
